Unless you just want the ACP cylinder and a stainless gun, I would never pay the premium to buy one of those, especially a new one.

Would bring $450-$500 pretty easily, around here anyway. Go to Gunbroker and search the completed auctions.

Has it about right, for a new one, dependent where you're buying it at... I've even seen them in blue, for about $550 & up...

What I believe you have is a Blackhawk Flattop Convertible. It's catalog number is KNVB-44X. Model number 5243. I assume it has a 4 ⅝" barrel and faux ivory grips?

If it is what I assume, you have a very nice and desirable .45 convertible. It's marked a New Model Blackhawk but is built on the "new" Vaquero medium frame. If you can find one NIB they sell easily in the $650 -$750 range. Current used prices I'm guessing $550 to $650 but based on today's crazy prices, who knows.

They're sweet shooters. I just disassembled mine and completed a high polish finish on it and it looks spectacular. When I reassembled it I installed a Wolff reduced trigger spring. I had it to the range yesterday to zero the sights. It's offers the best of both worlds. Shoot relatively inexpensive .45 acp or go for the gusto and drama with .45 Colt. Double your pleasure, double your fun. BTW, if you're looking to sell it, do NOT sell it too cheaply. This was a limited edition Lipsey's and there are many who lust after the 4 ⅝" barrel, stainless convertible.

Well.... maybe a 5 1/2" ... but a 4 5/8"? . Just kidding of course. I have the both the blued and the SS .45 flattop convertibles (5 1/2") and they are very good revolvers. I bought them more for the .45 Colt chambering as this was the only of getting a .45 Colt (medium frame) flattop . Still once in awhile I shoot some .45 ACP in them for the heck of it.

I ordered a new Bisley Blackhawk convertible in .45 Colt/.45 ACP a couple of weeks ago and with a little luck it will be delivered next week. There is a new production run of this gun and it is NOT the Vaquero model. This is on the full Blackhawk frame but with the Bisley handle and hammer. It has a 5 1/2" barrel and is stainless steel. I paid $700 for mine. The Bisley Vaquero will NOT handle the +P loads but the Bisley Blackhawk will.

I own one of these full-size Bisley SS convertibles from a previous distributor-only run. It's a wonderful gun. You won't regret the purchase.
