Since I don't want to hijack Drewpdog's thread I'll post pic of mine here.
I bought this from original owner's family a few years ago. Apparently it was kept in the holster hanging behind the owners desk in a home office, and rarely fired. It is unaltered, with really strong nice blue, except for a slight amount of holster wear on the tip of the barrel. Grips are minty.
I paid $700 with the George Lawrence holster rig and 100 rounds of ammo. I was told at the time the holster was worth $100+, the family looked for the box but no luck there. So Ill just ask for current value of the gun and holster?
Since I have never sold a gun I think I will die with it! Thanks Greg

Thumbs up S-47

Nice gun, great "package" with the ammo as well as that neat holster,,,you did good it is worth a bit more than what you paid,,,by the way that gun has the last of the "old model" squashed chicken grips (Name coined by the late Bob Campbell) the eagle is "flat looking" and silver instead of being painted black, and the grips still have the dark (blued) hardware ,screw and escutcheons, all correct for that vintage......nice gun, nice pictures, thanks for sharing.......

That is a beautiful set! That George Lawrence rig is worth quite a bit. I have a plain (no basket weave stamping) holster for my 9.5" Single Six that is worth more than $100. There is a Lawrence drop loop belt and holster for a Bearcat .22 that is similar to yours for sale right now at vintageleather.com that is well over $300.00.

Thanks for the replies, When I bought this the belt was a little tight on me.
Now that I got it out again I tried it on and it fits perfectly, another bonus to my 25Lb weight loss that my Dr. suggested!!

I guess I need to try cowboy action shooting some time!
But then I would need an outfit and a lever action rifle besides my Henry 22!

That's a beautiful rig. I'm glad you posted the pictures. I know what grips to order for mine.
