I thought prime day meant you received prime benefits for the day.

The life straw requires me to sign up for prime according to the listing, it's still exclusive to prime only Seems deceptive unless I misunderstand.

I think that's pretty much the idea to get as many people signed up for Prime as possible. I believe you can sign up for the 30 day free trial to get the items at Prime pricing. Then just cancel on day 29.

The life straw is the only thing I saw with a real markdown. I do not buy Yeti since they were a key player in pushing raising to age 21 law for rifles and shotguns in Florida and they are pushing it nationally.

I did look thru several items, for example the 2 man tent marked down from $29.95 to $22 or so. I can buy the same tent everyday for $16.46 at the camping tent store on line.

Prime is just a waste of money to me. I order a lot of stuff from Amazon and get free shipping on everything I order. If you buy a lot of item under $25 that do not get the free shipping, then it might break even, but not in my experience. Like I say, I have not paid shipping on Amazon in years and their special pricing has never been much of a deal if you shop around.

That $46 dollar blow up kayak is only $40 everyday on Ebay. Or $51.24 with shipping so the saving is only $6. But of course you have to pay to join the prime. Just saying.

I actually thought this was a joke until I saw members I recognize responding. This isn’t for me.
