Old Army History Question

I just acquired a stainless 7.5" Old Army in a red cardboard box with serial# 35XX. Yep, a 4 digit serial number that looks machine stamped instead of roll marked like the one on my blued Old Army of '96-'97 vintage.

According to the Ruger website it looks like this gun was manufactured in 1975.

Is there any unusual collector interest in low numbered Old Army revolvers?
I know Flat tops bring a premium, but I never heard of a higher desirability factor for the Old Army.

The only ones that I know of that are highly prized by collectors are the ones that came with the brass squared back Super Blackhawk grip frame...

You sound like you have a very nice gun however.

Pretty much what I figured.
You're right, this gun is in gorgeous condition.
I'll give it a good home :)

Thanks for the input RJM52.
