VolQuartsen or Tandemkross

I just purchased a Mark III and I want to replace the trigger. Do the members have any suggestions as to how to set up. Accurizing kit and all Volquartsen parts or use Victory Tandemkross trigger and lose space in trigger guard. I have long fingers but I think I would still have room to shoot safely. Any advice accepted.

BH,

Welcome to the Ruger Forum!

Unless you have the MkIII 22\45 Lite, appears Tandemkross doesn't have a Victory trigger for the Ruger regular MkIII's!

Under "Pistol & Revolver Forum - Ruger Rimfires" section, there are threads dedicated to topic areas such as yours. Although I have the newer MkIV's, I ended up with the TK Victory triggers and VQ accurizing components. If you click HERE, I have summaries with picks for the MkIV Hunter (post #1) & the MkIV 22\45 Lite (post #8)! I also have long fingers but with the PT and OT of the trigger pull set, find plenty of room and comfort for my trigger finger. Believe the trigger guards between the MkIII & MkIV 22\45's are the same!
Hope this helps,

Ted

I went with the victory trigger and VQ accurizing kit (available from the TK website as a package) and I LOVE it on my Mark iv. I really prefer the perfectly vertical, flat face of the victory trigger, which makes it effortless to pull straight back with the pad of your trigger finger, as well as the aggressive texturing.
