What do you think of that Bisley hammer spur and grip over your standard Blackhawks? Would you stick with Bisley for future purchases when it's an option?
That is an excellent question and I really don't have an answer (yet) as I haven't shot this gun and it's my first Bisley. I took stock of my 44 Mag ammo and found I was down to a couple boxes of very expensive Winchester Platinum Tip. I think Winchester must use actual platinum in the bullets given what they cost but my 44/77 rifle likes them so I'm saving those for deer season... I did find a wee bit of range ammo but I didn't realize I was so low on 44 Mag. Sigh. So first order of business is to find some ammo. Then a range report. Stay tuned.....
Thanks for all the kind remarks. Bought a Bianchi Lawman holster for it and plan to carry it as a sidearm while hunting, etc. Eager to go to the range with it ASAP.
Just saw the same gun on GunBroker.....with 8+ hours left the price is up to $1,025. Are you kidding me? MSRP is only $769. I paid less than $600 for mine and felt that was "about right" to possibly a "good deal". Sometimes I wonder if some of the sales really go through over on GB. Hard to believe some folks are that out of touch with values....
