Ouch. Well, it still LOOKS like fun. I've admired a few of the NAA guns but never have shot one. I have an old Champion No. 2 from the late 1800s but it doesn't work. Looks a lot like your NAA though. May have to take some pictures.......

Oh Dude! You're holdin' out on us. Please, I'm beggin' for a "Family Photo" of your "Bird's Head" bunch.

You're killing me Wave. Every time you post a new photo of one of your BH's, it's like Janis Joplin's "Take Another Little Piece of My Heart." I stand in envy, awe and admiration of your growing BH family. Group photo, please.

If you bought your first SA back in September; dude, you have been in a serious buying frenzy .......... you know they have 10 step support groups for that. One meets at my house and first step is leave all SA's in my safe Just sayin'

Yeah, there's a support group all right - this one right here. But it's more of an enablement support group and not designed to change your behavior. Kinda like having an AA meeting at a bar.

My interests in firearms seems to have have a linear path backwards. I started with semi-autos and then found I liked DA revolvers. Then I realized I shoot mostly SA mode in my DA revolvers and at the same time found an interest in older Blackhawks. Next thing you know I got hooked on the Birds head Vaquero/New Vaquero and realized I loved the look and feel of the Birdshead grip frame. So I have been busy readjusting my gun collection by selling off the evil black guns and "reinvesting" in birdshead SA revolvers. This has been a good time to switch gears so to speak. Although prices are generally up across the board the semi-auto/tactical segment went crazy and I have been fortunate to take advantage of that.

My linear regression continues. My most recent purchase wasn't a birdshead but a S&W .32 Double Action 4th Model that shipped in 1884 or 1885. (I have been eyeing a S&W Model 1 1/2 that does have a birdshead grip.) I suppose given the trajectory I am on pretty soon it will be Old Army, Patterson, black powder muskets, etc. until I reach the Stone Age. When I start posting photos of rocks and clubs in the Gallery somebody PLEASE stop me......

It reminded me of a feature in, I think Jack & Jill magazine, that I'd read with my kids when they were young, and trying to find objects in one drawing that weren't included in an identical appearing drawing. But, by Jove, I FOUND THEM ALL.

I'll stop bugging you now and hope I've not piqued the curiosity of Mrs. Waveform on how many birds occupy the nest. (But, that "Magnificent Seven" would make an awesome "Family Photo".)

But alas you have only seen the 7 showcased in this thread. A family photo would have to include the obnoxious cousins, Gramps and Uncle Uberti from the old country....

I've been doing exactly the same thing albeit on a smaller scale. During the last two months I've sold off 3 semi autos and replaced them with DA revolvers

As long as the rocks are shaped like this, you'll be OK.

This all sounds like Jr. High, locker room, braggadocios. That family photo better include at least 12 birds heads; because the "Boars Head" doesn't cover easily with a towel.

Put up or shut up

Well hell yes! You've got to include the Italian branch of the family, no matter how cantankerous they are. Probably just a result of altitude sickness from living in the Alps.

Ah, you don't have any black sheep Heritage Firearms bird's heads buried in your family tree, do you? You really have been busy, amigo.

Oops! I forgot our rules. Maybe we could get one of the mods to move all these dialogue posts to the other thread. My bad. This will be my last "commentary" post here.
