A pair of Rugers dressed in Barranti leather

I’m not a big poster, and especially not about accessories, but wanted to pass along a note about two holsters I received yesterday. When it comes to my single actions, I usually go with a Tom Threepersons from EPS. After a little research on several forums I had noted numerous glowing reports on holsters from Barranti Leather. I emailed “Doc” Barranti as I had a specific issue with fitment due to the S&W pre-war K sights added to my stainless Bearcat by Dave Clements. After assurances from “Doc” I order the holster for my Bearcat, as well as another for a pair of Ruger’s built on the single six frame; the Single Seven (327 Fed Mag with Tombstone ironwood grips) and the limited edition Single Six convertible, both are stainless revolvers with 3-3/4” barrels, Vaquero style sights, and birdshead grips. I went with the ‘Northwest Mountain Companion’, a lightly molded crossdraw holster in saddle tan color with open bottom and hammer thongs. I liked this style for the comfort in carrying (and sitting) and the covered trigger guard you don’t see on the Threepersons. As I ordered through his direct line of holsters I had them within the week, and wow… talk about a beautifully made and classic (and classy) looking holster. Fit is snug, the leather is flawless, and the look – well see the attached and you be the judge.
