My NMBH 357 with some pics

Thought I'd finally post some pictures of my New model Blackhawk, 357, 4.62" barrel. Wolffe 30 oz trigger spring, left the hammer stock (actually prefer the heavy hammer). Took the recommendation from someone here about the One Hole Sights. And finally dressed it up with some John Wayne Rooster style grips from Arizona Custom Grips. Wasn't impressed with the initial fit and finish of the gun, but have learned alot from the fellas on this forum on the quirky and not so obvious engineering marvels of the Ruger Blackhawk 😉 I'm hardly a good shot, but with a lighter trigger, better rear sight, and a good solid grip from the new grips I'm shooting a 10 ring consistently from 10+ yards out. Good enough for me.

Great looking. I like that aperture sight, may be just the thing for my old eyes to try.

Very nice set up . I always thought the 4 5/8' barreled guns looked best .

How does the rear sight work for you ? I've seen them but wasn't sure if they worked , being so far away from the shooters eye . I'm 70 ( have old eye problems) and always looking for a sighting edge .

That's my 357 Blackhawk , in my avatar , bought in 1971, only one dealer had , 6 1/2" barrel , the grips are real elephant ivory .

I really like the One Hole Sights. Easy to focus in on the front site with it. And you'll get two sights: each with a different diameter aperture. The one i put on is the smaller diameter one, but the other one he sends has even a bigger diameter.

The aged ivory looks good on the blue.

What year is that? It seems to have a better than usual finish.

I need to try one of those sights.

Yep I like the Magna Tusk technology of Arizona grips. The grips have some heft to them which I like. A little pricey but looks great on the gun. My NMBH is a 2016 I believe. And I use CLP for cleaning and wiping down.
