Sight rib for Ruger Supe rBlackhawk

Many years ago I bought a rib, black aluminum, that fits a Ruger Super Blackhawk.
Never installed it and the tube of adhesive still is pliable.
Anyone installed a rib on their Super Blackhawk and did it help sighting or anything?..And...did it stay in place.

From what I've seen, they did indeed stay in place.

Help anything? All I could tell it uglied up an otherwise beautiful revolver.

My lgs had a 41 mag blackhawk with one installed. It was horrendous. There were gaps where it didnít fit right, and you could see the adhesive underneath. I would not put it on anything.
