Have gotten back in to my Blackhawk with a new appreciation

I have had my convertible. 357/ 9mm for a while but I am now using it more than ever in 9mm. My grip is not the high inline with bore axis that is recommended. I wrap my pinky under the grip. I have considered larger grips but it seems to shoot fine while is paper as is. Enjoying it more than ever.

I've gone to the pinky wrapped under the grip. It's a tip I picked up from a local cowboy action shooter a few years, back, and it's definitely helped my shooting with SA revolvers via consistency in the way I grip the gun.

I used my 9 mm cylinder a few years ago to shoot a big number of really cheap even by 9 mm standards czech 9 mm smg ammo at 10 cent per round 158 grain at 1600 out of my 61/2 inch blackhawk.

Pinky under the grip here as well. Seems to really help.

Also use pinky under grip for my single actions. Seems to have better control.

I too shoot a lot of 9mm in my convertible. It's just so much cheaper than than 38/357. I'm a plinker for the most part and 9 gets the job done just fine for me.

I'll try the pinky under grip. I do that with my Single10 usually, but like 4 fingers on the grip with 357.
