My wife and I are going to the range tomorrow, I have mainly been shooting Colibris at 12-13yds good groups and shooting a bit low, I added some appliance paint to the front sight to correct elevation, I will report tomorrow how it goes.

FWIW my Wrangler hits POA at 15yds. I'm not making tight groups but the pattern is definitely "centered" with a variety of high and std velocity rounds. Before I'd think about anything being not up to spec I'd do what Iowegan stated and have someone else see how they can shoot. Sorry you're not getting what you expected. I did return my 357 New Model Vaquero to Ruger because the windage was too far off.

Soon after I bought my Wrangler last summer, my son-in-law and I did an indoor range trip. My S-I-L shot excellent groups with my MK III but with the Wrangle, he couldn't keep the groups under the size of a 3 lb coffee can lid at 15 yards. My first couple cylinders full were 2" low but windage centered at 15 yards. After I adjusted my sight picture, my groups were well centered on the bullseye, about 2" in diameter while shooting off hand (standing). Later I shot from a makeshift rest (sitting) and grouped under an inch at 15 yards. Point being, sometimes it's not the gun or the ammo!

You have experienced the down side of fixed sight handgun's. By all mean try different ammunition, in my experience that's not often it. I would have a second (experienced ) shooter try it. Then Ruger. That's what warranties are for.

This was my wife's last target of the day yesterday. Shooting offhand at 15 yards. I started loading only 5 rounds now and then to help her to stop anticipating the recoil, minimal as it is. I think it helped a lot. FWIW she is a southpaw and all of her groups tended to be left side of target. She loves the Wranglers but still prefers "her" gun which is a Walther p-22 that she is very comfortable with and the gun that is kept at her disposal, so I am happy too.

Lefty

Looks like your wife did just fine as a lefty. I, too am left handed and if I not careful my groups tend to go a little right of center. Probably just me as I'm not that good, but i sure enjoy trying.

Wrangler

I shot my Wrangler for the first time yesterday at my club. I had waited about 7 months for it.
Winchester X and Remington Golden ammo.
The gun shoots to the left about 2" at five yards. Nothing like my 45 year old Ruger Super Single Six 3 screw.
Further - not the guns fault but the Golden ammo would not load properly and the cylinder would hang up, due to a "fat" base on some of the bullets. not a good idea to force the rotation since the primers are in the base.
I will have to try different ammo and shoot a few hundred rounds to "break-in" this very cheap revolver.

many of the Rem "Golden Bullet" required a little pressure to chamber all of the way in my new Wrangler. CCI, Federal Automatch and Aguila SuperExtra HV all loaded without any issue.

I've actually been very impressed with the accuracy of mine. I shoot smaller groups with it than some of my single sixes.

Mine loves Remington golden bullets.

I have had 2 dealers tell me that the Wranglers were not approved for MA as of 02/18/20 - I know, some dealers are selling them but only because some new people at the distributor don't understand the hurdles for MA. The Ruger web site also says they are not approved for MA - see link below. The MA EOPSS list has the Wrangler listed but they haven't made it through the AG's consumer protection regulations yet - this is the "secret" list, which is not published - only the manufacturer gets info from the AG's office on approval.
