Where to go?

Would like to find a used NMBH 45 conv. 5.5 blued at a fair price. No luck. It's like looking for that needle in the hay stack. Folks tend to hang on to these pretty tight. So, I've been looking at the price of a new one. Has anyone had dealings with Bud's? Seems to be a tad bit cheaper than other dealers. Not by much though.

I have done business with Buds, KY Gun Co., and Smokey Mountain G&A all with no problems.

I found this at Grab A Gun. I have done business with them. Always good service.

A good bit cheaper than Bud's too.

I've bought a few guns from Bud's and had no issues.

The local FFL was higher than Buds the other day. I get my ammo from him most of the time. Told him to be on the lookout for the NMBH 45 ( I was about to order ) from Buds. Lo and behold, he's got two of them arriving Friday. He gets a heck of a deal when ordering 6 or more firearms, so he was able to match Grab-A Gun's price. He advertises the lowest prices in the USA and does a lot of business. Thanks for all the info on this guys.

Been wanting this revolver for years. Ya'll know how bad that itch can get. I'd usually get over it in a few days. I think it's turned into a fever now though.

That's why I always buy from my LGS. Sometimes I might pay a couple of bucks more, but other times they end up being the best deal anywhere.

That's right. You actually get to handle it before buying.

I picked up a brand spanking new blackhawk 45 colt/acp today. A 5.5 blued beauty. Ran a few cowboy and acp loads through her just to break the ice on our first outing. She just purred like a kitten with the cowboy rds. Got a little sassier with the acp rds though. I think we got along just fine together. The only complaint I had was with the grip panels. Plain to see why people gripe about the rough texture. Going to look into new panels and a holster. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning opening up a gift.
