Off to the Gunsmith

I've got to be crazy spending all this money on guns one week before seeing my the Tax-Man, not knowing what I might owe Uncle. Didn't somebody sing a song about the Tax-Man

These Davidson distributor exclusives are off to John Powers. Through his skills and craftsman-ship and what I was thinking that Davidson's exclusive should have been....well in just a few months I'll see if my gun fantasy comes true. I'll give everybody a look see when done.

Those look like they will make a great start on your single action fantasy. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

What are you having done to them? I have never found anything other that a little polishing of the trigger parts as needed on all my Ruger single actions. Mine all have very light triggers and there is just not much needed done. I have taken Colt clones down to 12 ounce triggers, but do not recommend them for most folks. Just curious if they come with a problem.

True case harden the frames, Garza down angled top line front sights, S&W J frame rear sights machined in, Power custom Bisley triggers and hammers hammers to be CCH triggers blue, actions jobs on installation, setting gaps and forcing cones, removing the lettering on barrels, re-bluing with deep blue finish on everything else. When they are returned I'll send the grip frames off to Grashorn for some stag without bark.
