That would be great!
Unfortunately, I've previously been told that Ruger won't make a combination that was not available from the factory. Right now at least, they don't make a blued Single Six with fixed sights and 4 5/8" barrel.
But I'd sure like to be wrong...

I just talked to Ruger, their technique is to simply replace the barrel. Since they did not make a SingleSix/blued/4 5/8" /fixed sights; they don't have the replacement barrel to install and can't or won't do the job.

There were actually 4 variations of New Model Fixed Sight, NR-4F, 4 5/8" Single Sixes manufactured. They were uncatalogued so that may be why Ruger denies making them. None were very common. I had a pair of Type 3 of the NR-4F's, Model 00645, with the grooved rear sight. Mine were a consecutive pair, #'s 268-51232 and 268-51233. They were made in early 2007. Production was less than 50 with only 4 reported. Mine were also unusual because the .22 Mag roll marks were on the forward part of the cylinder not the rear. If you give Ruger the model number they may be able to find you a barrel. Sadly I sold my pair in a weak moment. Been kicking myself ever since. I do have some of the current 5 1/2" Blue Fixed Sights, Model 00629, and a 6 1/2" Blue Fixed Sight, Model 00646, that I enjoy so all is not lost.

Regarding the $50 cost of a barrel change, I believe that is the labor cost. Parts would add to that.

Best Regards,
ADP3

Regarding lead in the grip frame be aware that lead will eventually oxidize and then you have fine particles that can contaminate and lead to problems. I found this out the hard way when I filled the through-bolt cavity of my #1 .458 Win Mag with lead shot. If you do use lead seal it in plastic or a heavy coating of enamel paint. You can always purchase and fit a steel grip frame to add balance and weight.
