Well I finally contacted Ruger and enclosed pictures of my Stainless Bisley convertible. Front sight base was soldered off center and very distracting to when shooting.

Received my prepaid shipping label and shipped pistol Monday, Ruger received Tuesday. Still waiting for a phone call or FedEx truck to show up.
Recently had problems with a Ruger Shopkeeper which took three times being returned and replaced before getting it right.
Ruger customer service has always been top notch, I just with their quality control would check these things out closer.
Making it hard to buy a firearm on an auction site, better to do a hands on anymore.
I had actually asked the seller to check this one out before shipping.
Wait and see.

Bisley back from Ruger!

Got the Bisley back yesterday. Ruger customer service did it right again! To bad this kind of thing gets past quality control to often. Receipt in box said they replaced barrel and front sight base and sight blade.
Will be sending a big "Thank You" to all involved at customer service Monday. :D

Ruger fixed it. They always do. I only asked Ruger once in my lifetime for a replacement rear folding leaf sight (.458 Winchester in Ruger No. 1) and they just mailed it to me.

Yes I see clearly the front sight blade is OFF! Off the base.
I finally feel like I have found a person here who sees dimensions by glance and catches misalignment. I see it ALL THE TIME with CNC and MIM today and I cannot understand why a computer can't see the obvious ERROR.

My 45 4 5/8 stainless was bent and you could actually see a slight crack at the base
I don't know if they adjusted it when they test fired it or what
Called Ruger
They had UPS drop me off a return box and back it went
Got it back in a week looked like a new barrel and sight or maybe just a replaced sight if that is possible
