Christmas In July

No, not some obnoxious sale advertisement. I just got my Christmas gift five months early. An opportunity presented itself to get a nice shotgun at a really good price. My wonderful wife said "Merry Christmas!" and wrote a check. I got a lovely Benelli Montefeltro 12ga with hard case and six choke tubes. I have from cylinder to turkey extra full, missing only improved cylinder. Somehow I got two modified tubes. I can't wait to break some clays!

Had one a few years ago. Well balanced and a sweet shooter. Got tired of having to look for my empty shells on the ground so sold it and got a O/U. Good luck with yours I’m sure your gonna like it.

I test fired it some this morning. High brass #6 game loads ran great. Even light off brand 1oz #8 target loads ran fine. Someone gave me a case after finding out that they were sticking in the chamber of his Winchester pump gun. They went through the polished and chromed Benelli chamber like grass through a goose.

Very good. Sounds like a keeper. I wished I could of held on to mine, but I could only afford one or the other at the time.

Thank you. An 870 Express has been my "do everything" shotgun for years. I'm hoping the semi auto will help me get on the second clay quicker when shooting doubles.

The previous owner hunted with it, so it has a few nicks and dings. Overall it's in excellent shape. I know he hunted dove, quail, and even killed several turkeys with it. The choke wrench is missing, and the case is scuffed up on the outside. I'm still thrilled with it.
