After watching the vid, it would appear the weapon needs to be sent back to engineering/design. I'm not buying the "break-in" concept. Sorry.

Hmm, ATI. I think I would rather spend 50 bucks more for the Mossberg Maverick 88.

When Wal Mart stopped carrying firearms in one of the local stores here they had a Remington 870 3 1/2" Supermag on sale for $199. I bought it and went on line and Remington was offering a $50 rebate on that gun. I sent it in and got the $50. So $149 for a NIB Supermag, now granted that was 10 years ago but I'm still crowing about it. I have taken many ducks and a few turkey with it. Can't say the 3 1/2" shells are calling me anymore after rotator cuff surgery in 2015.

Turkish?

AT has imported Turkish guns in the past. Might be OK but, for not a lot more, there are quite a few used pumps and most are trouble-free designs which can be used for other than self defense purposes by picking up a spare barrel down the road. I, personally, would not place much confidence in a sub- $200 new gun.

Having the guns I have, I wouldn't place too much confidence in it either. I think could certainly give piece of mind to a family of low income. I'm with bozz though as well, $50 more and you have a proven firearm.

Buy once cry once.

Spend the extra money on a decent gun from a reputable manufacturer.

Yeah, had the same surgery myself. Miserable recovery required, hated PT, but did it religiously. Made me stop doing stupid sh*t! Makes me more careful when firing long guns as well.

I hunted the first year (2015) during gun season with a crossbow. Took me about a year to fully heal. I did the PT twice a week for about 18 weeks and then kept up with the program on my own. It will be 3 years in May and it feels fine but I'm careful with hard recoiling guns. I have a dedicated 12 ga slug gun with a rifled BBL and the only ammo I have found to be accurate with it is 3" Federal saboted slugs. I put a new scope on it and used sand bags on the shoulder to absorb recoil when I sighted it in. Put it in the safe and have deer hunted with the muzzleloader even during shotgun season.

The Surgeon told me after I had healed "it is easy to fix it and get it right but if you tear it again it's not easy and never comes out the way you want it to be". I interpreted it to mean don't screw it up.
