I just picked up one dated 1993. So it was in its 11th year in production, and is really nice with no issues, or no heard of issues...

I had an early Red Label. Fit and finish were beautiful, had that removable piece between the barrels, just a sleek looking shotgun. But, the way they angled the comb, it used to beat the piss out of me. I believe it was a field grade gun but I shot skeet with it, came with 2 skeet chokes as well. I often wish I still had it, I'd hunt with it now.

Thumbs up Thanks

The red label I owned had a red pad ... Serial number a 411- so I guess it was a mid 90's ..it had fixed chokes so it may have been older ... Nice wood and no issues ... Thanks for your Imput !!!💥

I've just bought a 20g in the UK it's a 1993 with impeccable unmarked walnut, red butt pad and plain stainless steel receiver. It is by far the most comfortable shotgun I've experienced. I use it for sporting clays which raises the eye brows of all the 12g Browning / Beretta traditionalists. It's got a couple of minor rust spots on the barrel and some light scratches in the receiver all easily dealt with. Bottom line.........I wouldn't swap it for any other over under I've seen held or read about period. One of only four Red labels of any gauge for sale in the UK at the time (there's only three now) and I only gave 660 for it, I love it!
