Mini 14 followers in stock

For anyone looking for mini 14 mag followers, they’re back in stock at Midway USA ($5) and Brownells ($6). Just got some for my Original Equipment 10s & 20s.

Why do we need these? Not a snide remark, a genuine question.

I was wondering the same thing. I have 20 magazines, all with factory followers and no particular problems. Of course, I’m not going through a thousand rounds at a range session, either.

OE mags

I bought some to replace the green followers in my Original Equipment brand (NOT Ruger factory) mags. I’ve not had any issues but these followers come in and out of stock so figured I’d grab some. They do seem to resist tilting more than the green OE followers and since I run .300bo seemed like an easy way to avoid a headache later.
I’ve also heard some like to replace their old style followers with these newer style followers for the same reason, less tilt.
I ordered mine from Midway so if they’re already OOS they probably sold out in a week or two. Before that they were out for months.
