Need a barrel for PCC9

I bought my PCC9 when they first came out and stores couldn't keep them on the shelf. I waited about a month for one to come in for me. About a week or so after I picked up my rifle Ruger started shipping out the new model with threaded barrels.

Since then i have been trying to get a threaded barrel. No response from Ruger, and no luck finding barrels.

Anybody have any insight on where i can get a threaded barrel for my PCC9?

As far as I know, Ruger is not selling barrels for the PC Carbine. Your best bet is to get it threaded by a gunsmith.

If you have no one local, this guy is pretty affordable...

I have one of the early PCC's and it came with a threaded barrel. You apparently live in California and are they allowed to even sell threaded barrels there? That may be your problem.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

They were released at the same time.

Picked up my PC Carbine 19117 from California FFL Friday. Has threaded barrel.

The rules often don't make sense. Always wanted to get a Ruger .22 charger pistol but they are not allowed in California. The new 9mm charger pistol is OK in California.
