The Garand is the predecessor to the M-14. I prefer the M1A, which as you know, is the civilian version of the M-14. I prefer the box magazine to the clips of the Garand and the powerful 308 round to the 30 carbine round and the anemic 22 round of the Mini. I was issued the M-14 in the Army and know it well. I had a mini-14 in the '80s. No thanks...I'll leave that to the SWAT wannabees.

I'll stick with my ol' 181. One of the very first, brand new fresh tooled straight out of a brand spanking new factory. All I had to do was dial in the right reloads.

Amazing how some are so sensitive to criticism of what they like.

He likes name calling too. If he's just a child, as I suspect, I'll give him a pass.

The gun looks way cool I would have bought one to go with my other three. As far as accuracy goes I have not seen any used rifles for sale at a price that reflects poor accuracy
if I could find one for sale that someone sells cheep because they do not get good accuracy I would buy it and do my own upgrades.

I bet that stock would solve the harmonics issue the older series have.
