This is a discussion on PC Carbine Mags within the Ruger Semi-Auto forums, part of the Rifle & Shotgun Forum category; I've used 124gr FMJ and Federal 14 HST in the Magpul Glock mags in my PCC with no problems....
Just picked up a new PC9. Fired 50 rounds with the Ruger supplied mag when I picked it up. I brought it home, cleaned it and inserted the Glock magwell. I was surprised how much the mags rock back and forth when inserted. Now this is my first Pistol Caliber Carbine and maybe this is normal, but Iím used to very little movement of a mag when inserted in a pistol. Is this normal?
my korean made glock 50 rd drum fires perfect in my model 17, but stove pipes every few rounds in my PC carbine. What's up with that? No problem using a generic 33rd magazine.
Its been noted previously, I just missed the mentions before I bought it, intending to use it on the rifle.
I'm no gunsmith, but I guess I'll start it up somewhere.
I've run P-Mags in my PCC ever since I bought it. I has run flawlessly. No rattle and they seat properly. Ejecting the mags is smooth and they drop free. The OEM Glock mags don't drop as quickly and hang up a little.
