Mark IV 22/45 Lite good day at the range

Today was a golden opportunity to go shoot.
I only took the Mark IV Lite, Somehow I ended up with 6 Ruger mags.
Several of them were feeding sluggishly. I watched a Youtube video, maybe it was by Tandemkross on Mag Tuning. I followed the directions and polished up 5 of the 6 mags. Slicker than snot. Took 4 different brand of ammo.
I was very please with the performance. This gun is alot of fun to shoot. Today being seniors day at the range several of the older gents took a fancy to it.
No problems whatsoever. The 6th mag did ok except it twice failed to activate the slide lock on last round.
Also I think I would like to try the TandemKross Halo Charging ring. This gun will pinch.

Over all a very nice day. Weather is crappy but who cares, The pistol shoots well and I'm happy. Now I get to eat Turkey leftovers. MMMgood

Dave

Glad you got out today and had a chance to work the Mark IV 22/45. My Mark III 22/45 goes with me weekly to the range and there is nothing better for the soul than practice. These Marks really got me interested in rimfire shooting and they are a joy to shoot.
