Mark IV Target with Mantis X?

Does anyone know if the Mantis X is a useful training addition to a Mark IV Target? I have the all-steel Target, and given the relatively high weight of the gun and the small caliber, I am a bit concerned about the action being strong enough to trigger the Mantis sensor properly - in particular during dry-fire training.

Does anyone have experience with this? (Might be a complete non-issue, I'm rather new to guns.)

rimfire primers require a pretty solid whack to fire reliably, so it should be enough to trigger the Mantis X.

I use mine mostly on a CZ P-07, with an o-ring between the firing pin and the hammer, and it has no trouble picking up the hammer drop. I find it to be a very useful training accessory.

and now the small print. I have been a demo rep for CZ pistols (among a few other products / brands) for about 4 years now. We do represent Mantis, but I was a Mantis owner for a long time before we added them to the "family".
