Anyone know when the Ruger 57 will be commonly available?

Hi, I see a few folks here and there that have got theirs, either by luck walking into a LGS and one being on the shelf. Or on GB or other places where prices seem to be high. I've been waiting for 2 months for my back order and every where I look on major distributors they have great prices but say they are taking back orders only.

I know Ruger said they weren't going to announce new products unless they were in distributors hands, but apparently someone misjudged the demand.

Anyone at Ruger know what's going on?

Thanks
Chris

Grab a gun is usually who I get hard to find guns from, and usually the best price. Id say clicking on Notify me when this product is in stock could be a good option.

Atwoods

I found mine at Atwood's if you have one near you. They don't carry the ammo and the people working the counter aren't what I call gun people but they do have a good selection and will order guns for you. Price was fair at $650. My LGS has the ammo and said they had sold over a dozen Ruger 57s and they couldn't keep them in stock.

Thanks for the advice. But, I already pre-ordered and paid locally. I was just hoping someone from Ruger (who doesn't seem to respond on this subject) might be on this forum and have some information.
