I like mine. I'm on my third one. I traded my original for a Sterling stainless .22 pistol to my brother in law. I saw they had the muddy girl on sale for $178 at Rural King. I bought it. Told my sister about it. She has a RK about 2mi. from her house. They sold out on the Muddy Girls. She got a deal on a black one. We agreed to trade. I saw her a couple of weeks ago. When I was headed out her way she said, "you bringing my pink pistol?" Yep, I'm back to black! My original one I gave $238+tax.

Only .380 I've ever owned. It is a great little gun. I have no interest in the original LCP's.

Desantis Super Fly is her favorite pocket holster.

My wife wanted something smaller than her G42. She got an LCPII. I bought it from a guy who came into a gun shop looking to trade it. IT was the one that came in a zippered case with a knife and flashlight, along with the sticky holster. He had three mags with it. He had just bought it 2 weeks prior, and had issues with it. Of course he had already added Wolf springs instead of having Ruger take care of it. I paid him $170.

We put around 800 round through it of different ammo, and finally had time to send it in to Ruger. Ruger replaced the gun with a new one. The new one is absolutely perfect. It eats anything and is incredibly accurate. I want one now. I couldn't;t miss with the thing.

She now has a kydex IWB hotter and actually carries it. She rarely carried before, now she does. Glad we got it.

Income tax refund is here. I see a new LCP 2 on the horizon for myself after messing with my wife's gun. My EC9S is to big for pocket carry for me.

There is no LCP 2.

There is the LCP, LCP GEN2 and the LCP II.

So then how do you pronounce LCP II? Do you say 2 or "eye eye"?

I would think that you would SAY '2' but in print you would always WRITE 'II' to avoid needlessly confusing the versions.

You forgot the Custom model in your lineup . The one with the fugly red trigger . I guess it was their answer to the complaints about the original having a horrible trigger pull. Side by side the LCP2 has essentially the same trigger pull as the custom minus the red trigger and lower profile ( less snaggy ) sights.

I own one. The .380 can jump around on me. I bought new grips for it and it isn't bad to shoot now. If she decides to carry it, the front sight will need to be painted. It can be hard to pick up at times.

Hogue grips on both guns along with fingernail polish on front sight. By the way I walked into the local gun shop and ask for a extra magazine for a Ruger LCP aye aye owner laughed his *** off and stated he had magazines for the LCP 2. I told him that I had been informed that there was no such thing as LCP 2. More laughs from shop keeper.

Can we call it the “ Duce”, or how about a “Deuce” for some French Savior faire However you spell it. Or how about “little deuce”With a little 70s porno flick flare?
Seriously it’s really too bad there isn’t a better more understandable distinction. Maybe even put a blue ray gun trigger on it like my custom has just not the red one. We have a real identity crisis going on here

Exactly.

All these people who claim there is no "LCP 2" can just walk into a store with a piece of paper with "LCP II" written on it and ask for parts for that firearm since they don't wanna say "2" instead of "eye, eye"

Don't Superbowls get referenced via Roman numerals, too?
