Kdarmy ... While some folks have a long memory regarding the early "Click no bang" issue, I have found my KP345 to be an excellent addition to my collection and a definate keeper (over 2,500 rounds with no problems other than 2 FTFs during the 1st 50 rounds). It's well built, accurate and has great ergonomics ... IMHO it's Ruger's best .45 semi-auto to date (let the flames begin ).
BTW...regarding the "Click no bang" issue...Ive read all about that, and I have thought about "cleaning under the rear sight"...but as long as I am aware of the issue, I have just been careful to never pull the trigger without a mag in place...
My thought is, if I ever have to use this gun in a self defense situation and the gun is later examined...I want to be sure all safe guards are as they were as they left the factory.
Yeah that P345 is somethin else huh? I shot on an IDPA range and set a new personal record. Very controllable for a light .45
