Found some interesting Info on my "Super" SP-101

I was doing some more research on my "Super" SP-101 (.22wmr/.22lr) and came upon this Post on the "other" Ruger Forum (of which I am not a Member, and for some reason, can't seem to join either):
https://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB3/vi...67682#p2678493

Now dig this .... "The third gun, s/n 570-68353" .... Yeah, that's right .... It's my "Super" SP-101 ! ! !

Last month, the Revolver made a trip to the "Sportsman's Gunsmith Shop" in Salt Lake to be checked out and is running 100% in both .22wmr AND .22lr
And now, the Roll Mark has been changed to reflect that:

Now that I've see this other Post, changing the Roll Mark may have been a bad thing !

Quite interesting though; is how this Revolver isn't even suppose to be out in the public and not suppose to shoot ! ? !

OH .... If anyone here, is also a Member there, could you please update THAT Post to reflect this info, for me

blackvoid will become famous soon enough
From what little I know, it should be impossible to run BOTH LR and Mag. in the same cylinder. Correct? Wouldn't the LR cartridges rupture in the larger diameter of a Mag. cylinder? And changing the cylinder on an SP DA is not as simple as on a SA.
The owner's manual for the convertible Single-Six, on page 15, specifically warns about/against .22LR in a Mag. cylinder. Can be downloaded here:

Do you have two cylinders?

Yes, I have both; the original WMR and a fitted LR

Yeah, it's not as easy as say the Super Single Six, but it's doable

That's a neat find, changing the rollmark was a bad idea, especially on a rare item like yours. For collectors, modifications on rare items hurt it's historical history.
