Welcome, the cylinder is too small for the larger caliber.

Howdy, you have your answer.

That is why I have a Wiley Clapp 357 Magnum.

Welcome from Baton Rouge , Louisiana .

To answer your question ... No can do !
To shoot 38 special , 357 magnum and 9mm Luger you need a Blackhawk Convertible .

I have a revolver that does that. The Taurus Tracker 692 can shoot 38/357 and with a simple cylinder change and moon clips, it can shoot 9. Itís 40 oz of stainless with a 6.5Ē ported barrel. Subsonic 9mm feels like 22 in it.

OT a bit, but while I have been suspicious of newer Taurii (my 1990s 85 has been great) this 692 convertible really interests me in 3Ē barrel format.

How much have you shot yours? How well has it held up?

Iíve put 140 rounds of 9mm, 70 rounds of 38 SPL, and 70 rounds of 357 Magnum through it. Thatís not enough to really judge durability, but this is a solid piece of machinery. Itís built like a tank and it is a joy to shoot.
