Finally Decided

Last week I posted in regards to which GP100 to get - I was leaning toward the 6 inch barrel 357 but also had the Match Chamion in the mix - I decided to buy the MC - have it ordered and hopefully it'll get here soon - the more I debated the decision - the MC won out - I really like the way it looks which is sort of a goofy reason to get however it is what it is !
I'll post pictures as soon as I get it ( I've yet to add any pictures to any post but should be able to figure it out )
Thanks to everyone for their knowledge and input
Best regards - Tom

I have had several rugers including the 6in .. I have to say .. I hope it isnt that I just got lucky but the Match I picked up a few weeks ago is far and away the nicest trigger with the sweetest grips I have ever gotten. Period!

If your example is anything like mine .. you are going to LOVE IT!

I always say, "do not let price be THE deciding factor". A deciding factor to be sure, but if you cheat yourself by letting it rule your wallet, chances are you will end up back in the gun shop getting what you really wanted anyway.

The "way it looks" is not a goofy reason at all for making a decision. I think you will be very happy with your choice. First of all, the grips that come on the Match Champion are super nice. Secondly, the weight, heft, and balance between the ones you were considering are definitely different, and I'm sure that your choice took that into consideration. We will look forward to hearing when you get your new revolver and hopefully will see some pictures.

Nothing "goofy" about buying a gun whose looks sway you. Life is too short. Though they are as reliable as all get-out, that's why I don't like polymer-frame Semis.

Love the MC/GP. Have had mine for several years and it is my favorite 357.
