That's not true. I've read some legendary rants over largely cosmetic issues large and small. At least they mostly work and everyone seems to think themselves qualified to do action work.

I've had pretty good luck over at the S&W and Colt forums although they are a bit heavy on the collector thing, especially with Colt where one might think not a single member there actually shoots or carries any of their guns, whose sole purpose of existence is apparently to be fondled and looked at.
