Who has a Gemini Custom GP100?

Hi Guys and Gals,

Im debating on having a 6 GP100 sent to Gemini for a few mods like throat work, target crown, endshake reduction, and possibly some action/timing work. Has anybody had work done by Gemini? If so, what are your thoughts? How does the gun perform? Pics are a bonus!

Any other custom shops you recommend?

BigG will become famous soon enough
Just looked at their website as I've not heard of them. Looks very interesting. Looks like you can go from mild to wild as far as work done and $$$. The youtube has some videos. I'd say go for it and post your impressions. My GPs shoot so well right now with just spring changes and a little polish work. Gonna watch the videos.

I have no experience with Gemini. However, I have had action work done by 10 Ring Precision (Alex Hamilton). He is a member of the American Pistolsmiths Guild. I was quite happy with the result. You may want to research Cylinder & Slide, David Clements, the Action Works, Magnaport and Pinnacle (Mark Hartsthorne) as they do Ruger work also.

I concur with Rover - lots of very good gunsmiths that can do the tuning work you describe so it may pay to shop around. Nothing against Gemini whatsoever - I've long admired his eye for design modifications and have admittedly ripped off elements in some of my own GP100 tinkerings. His tuning and action work is likely on par with his craftsmanship but I would want to make sure his prices on that kind of work is in line with some of the others that Rover listed above.
