Couldnt agree more, got one around 2011 and never looked back. Carried J frames for years before that, Ill take the LCR any day. Loved it so much I got a .22LR a few years later. I love that one too and take it for a walk in the woods every once in a while.

WTSANDSTORM will become famous soon enough
I have been carrying the .38 LCRX for about three years. Using a Remora pocket holster.
I've had good results using my own hand loads, LSWC 158 Grain Missouri bullets, in Starline cases, and either Unique or Tightgroup. They are cheap and easy to load, and seem as good as any similar factory rounds.

I love this gun, and the light carry weight couldn't be better. Looks like the responses verify .38 as the best choice, too. Would I buy another LCR? Absolutely !! I think I'd like to try the .32 version. It is about 4th down the list of guns I want to buy right now. Thanks for asking.

LCR 38 with 148 lead wadcutters in a Galco Ankle Glove.
With the right pants nobody can see it, and it's so light I can forget it's there.
