Pretty much just a green dot in a black circle. The nice thing is you don't have to worry about the rear sight any more. You just keep both eyes open and you naturally center the front sight in the ghost ring without even thinking about it.

Hi-Viz Fiber Optic sights are nice and bright, amazing what a little piece of fiber can do. Whoever invented it made a buck.

Don’t want to hijack the thread here, but how does a ghost ring sight compare to a standard notch and post type sight? What are the advantages/disadvantages? How do they compare in terms of accuracy (ie precision shooting)? Speed?
I just used peep sights on a rifle for the first time, and I loved them right away. Much less eye fatigue and much easier sight acquisition. Furthermore, I felt that I was able to shoot at least as accurately with peeps as I can with notch/post sights.
