I have an american scope package in 308 and I love mine. I have been debating about one in 223.

How is he recoil in the 308, I know this is a lightweight rifle

I have the gunsite scout in 308 and love it so I opted for the 223 in the American

I have an American in 308 the stock has good padding so to me it’s not bad
It was a inexpensive package deal with vortex ll 3x9 scope ..well matched for deer hunting light and accurate.

I too think about one in 223 for my wife ..be nice to have a can on it.

I should say my wife didn’t complain about it and she is recoil sensitive usually
