Ruger Precision 22LR

I recently bought a Ruger Precision 22 LR. Unfortunately when I took it to the range for the first time, the safety wasn't working right. Was very hard to move and would never release and trigger wouldn't work.

Anyone else have the issue?

Never fired a round and had to go back to Ruger to get fixed. Waiting to get it back and try it out.

This is the 3rd Ruger I bought this year and second one that had to go back to Ruger to get fixed.

I've lost all faith in Ruger.

My safety was very stiff but did still work. I'm hoping it breaks in a little as i use it.

Mine was stiff also but became less stiff after cycling it quite a few times.

Unfortunately while trying to get the safety to work, it stopped working completely and stuck in the off position.

Got it back from Ruger and they replaced a Safety Selector E-Clamp, Sear Pin E-Clamp and Cocking Pin E-Clamp.

Took it out and did 50 rounds without any issues. Fingers crossed it's the end of the Ruger problems.

Safety on mine was very stiff when new, and did get stuck completely one time. fiddled with the bolt, pushed the trigger forward and used the correct swear words and it "unstuck". With use it has become very smooth and easy to engage/disengage.
