While I love the support Ruger shows for us who shoot with the other hand, I don't think this one will make it to my wish list. I'd rather see more of the fully ambidextrous P-series get filled out rather than scaled back. I've always thought the SA revolvers are easier for us lefties to reload (probably why I have so many), but if they ever came out with a GP100 for us, I would be all over that.

Anyone actually seen a lefty GSR yet? I can't even find a RH version right now locally to look at, I'm guessing I'll be waiting a long time for a LH.

Been calling the local stores and after checking they can't even order a LH GSR. Got to be patient I guess.

Finally found a GSR on the shelf in a local shop, really liked the way it felt so I placed my order for a LH GSR today, let the wait begin.

I was looking for one also, and checked GunBroker and found a local dealer that had one on the shelf. With being a southpaw and finding a gun actually made for me---sweet! Right out of the box almost dead on sites. Open sites at 100 yards with Federal soft point 5inch groups and SMK 175gr 3in groups. I was happy for the first time out with a new rifle.

Now a happy new owner of a LH GSR, fit, finish and handling is as expected from Ruger, but not too fond of the black iron sights since they are hard to see when aiming towards a dark target. Even though I'm planning on adding optics I'll be considering ways to improve the irons. Looking forward to some range time in the next week or two to see how it performs where it really counts.
