Very sweet. Now on to scope & accessories.
really? Well, let me shake your hand - well done. Please, tell me about it. I'd been attracted to the Browning Belgium semi-auto .22 because if it's sleek lines and fine wood.
I originally planned on a Stainless model and finding some third party for a nice wood grained stock. This is a fine representation of the rifle. I like the checkering, and stainless/aluminum upper. I see the trigger housing is blued - was that a purposeful decision?
That is one I would not accessorize much at all. A good stainless scope and rings and trigger work. Maybe a stainless trigger group and bolt release. But the contrast black looks real good as is. I would not touch the furniture. Not even to add a sling, she is too pretty to drill holes in.

All I did when presented with the idea and prototype pic was suggest chaining it to the 20" bbl rathe than the 18". My reasoning was with this style stock the longer barrel gave it a more "classic" look harkening back to the OLD rifles and muskets. My suggestion and reasoning stuck. The rest, I had no input on.
I was able to finally buy one about two weeks ago. Before that you did not see very many for sale. Ruger must have cut a few loose. I see a lot of new mini 14's on the market also. I hate to say it but I'm thinking about selling the stock, and keeping the 20 inch barrel. I love the longer barrels, have not decided what to do yet. They are really cool looking guns!!!!!!!!!
I would never sell the stock. It's the main reason I bought the rifle. Guess I'm old fashioned because I don't like the synthetic or laminated stocks they put on most rifles these days.
Bought one for my wife, I think it's a beauty. Haven't been to the range yet but I can't hit a thing at 25 yards. Do they sight these in at the factory?
Mine from the factory was sighted in ok for elevation but windage was off 4" right @ 50 yards. Had to tap the rear sight over a tad at the dovetail in the barrel.
Got mine today. Ordered sight-unseen from the East Coast. I'm happy with the grain of the wood considering it was a roll of the dice purchase.
