magazine adaptor

I have heard that there is an y shaped adapter which accepts 3 stock 1022 magazines giving you a 3 step 30 round magazine. Oh yea, I live in california. I can't find it anywhere. Can I go out of state like say New Mexico and buy high capacity 1022 magazines?

You may be able to but once they are in California you would not be in compliance with the law there.

If you were caught buying a 30 round mag and have it shipped in, both you and the seller would be in violation of gun laws.

Yeah but technically it's (3) 10-rounders so you might be ok....

You are correct, the tri-mags (3 -10 round mags) are actually legal in Cali. Each magazine only holds 10 rounds so that satisfies the "high capacity" ban.
