Question Ruger 10/22 Compact + M1 Carbine Stock

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the talo M1 carbine stock (or any other 10/22 m1 carbine stock) with the ruger 10/22 compact's 16" inch barrel? I want to add a M1 carbine style stock to my ruger 10/22 compact however I am unsure if it will need inletting or other modifications. The stock I am looking at is on brownells and the link is below:

For some reason I am unable to share the link, so the item name is WEST ONE PRODUCTS LLC - RUGER 10/22 USGI STOCK M1, and its # is 100-005-624WB
Ruger 10/22 USGI Stock M1 Wood Brown.

Here's the link. I think you need to have over a certain amount of post to be able to add links.

I've always wanted one of the M1 10/22's.

Don't know about the Compact, I put a SARCO stock on my regular 10/22:

But it sez it's out of stock. They also offer the airborne stock.

Did you have any problems installing it? A review said they had to dremel it out or something

I did have to Dremel out the inside of the stock some to make it fit, used a large sanding drum.

The carbine-looking magazine extension came from EABCO, but they are currently out of stock. Part Number 331-020 ($22).

They do have these:

The one I got has to be glued/epoxied to a regular 10rnd mag.

Buddy of mine got the Talo version and it's nice, but it does have a rail on top that comes off. Mine was the 18.5" barrel and I think his 10/22 Talo is too.

You should not have any problem at all, they are designed to fit without a problem, if any fitting is required it will be easy. I purchased the Talo prebuilt one and it needed more fitting than the parts you are buying probably will.
