10/22 Takedown Firing Pin.

Hi All, Iím looking for a replacement Firing Pin for a 10/22 Takedown. I am struggling finding a Part# for it and apparently it is longer than the standard 10/22 item.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

I bought B-11 from Brownells. Apparently the Takedown model has a longer firing pin.

I e-mailed Ruger for a Part# but have had zero response so far.

Why do you think that the take-down firing pin is longer?

A 10/22 bolt can be pulled from a standard model and stuck in a TD and vice versa with no change. The firing pins and all other bolt components are totally interchangeable.

Did your firing pin break or have some issue, or are you just looking to upgrade?

blade57, As Spiff noted, all 10/22s (rifles, carbines, TDs, and target models) use Ruger part number B-11 firing pins. I don't know where you got the idea that TD firing pins are longer …. just not true. Another Internet myth?
