I installed a Volquartsen trigger assembly target hammer a couple of months ago and coated it with Eezox lube before installation. I store the gun in a small gun safe with two heating rods in it, to keep everything dry. I have never had the gun out in rainy or even damp weather. Today, I tore the gun down for cleaning, after running a few hundred rounds of Mini-Mags through it. I noticed a light dusting of rust on the hammer, even though the lube was still covering it. I called Volquartsen and they are sending me a new one, with an envelope to return the rusty one for inspection. Anyone else ever had this problem?
