iron sight

I own a 10/22 Carbine (Inox and Polymer) since last year... I started to fire at 55 yards this year with iron sights but results are very bad.

All the rounds hit 1/1,5 inches to the left of the bulleye...I tried to fix the rear sight but using the hammer I can't have a fine tuning..

I want to replace the iron sights with a fully adjustable set (windage and elevation).

I found only peep sight and no open sight why ????
Is it possible that on the market does not exist an open rear sight fully adjustable for the most customizable rifle on the planet????

Check out the Williams Fire Sights...

... and the HIVIZ (which may not be much of an improvement over the stock sights).

HIVIZ Sight Set Ruger 10/22 Steel Fiber Optic Green Adjustable Rear

Most of the easily-adjustable sights are probably going to be the peep variety. After I got my stainless (inox) and synthetic 10/22 I upgraded the iron sights to the Nodak Spud peep sight, but I have since taken them off and now use a scope.

Good luck with your search.

For accurate shooting, aperture sights are superior to blade-type open sights. Instead of trying to center the front sight against the rear knowing that you can't focus on both at the same time, you get natural sight alignment when you look through the rear sight at the front sight. So aftermarket manufacturers don't see much demand for upgraded open sights.

For fully adjustable sights with click detents so you can hold and repeat adjustments easily you are looking at these:

Nodak Spud
Tech-Sights (the most popular solution)
Williams FP
Lyman

Nodak and Tech-Sights are both made for the 10/22 and attach directly to the receiver with screws. The others are clamp-on and require that you first attach a sight base or rail to the receiver.

or you could find excellent, used sights on Ebay made by:

Lyman
Redfield
Anschutz

These will also be clamp-ons and require a rail.

Note that with most of these sights you will also have to replace the front sight also to get the proper height.
