We went out back to shoot after our St Paddy's Day dinner. I had a new toy that I've been wanting to shoot for quite a while. ;) The day was a beautiful sunny, winter day with a slight breeze. The kind of day that makes you feel full of energy and excitement in anticipation of shooting.

The new toy that we were going to shoot is a Do-All Blast Back Pop-Up metal target for using the 9mms. We decided to take the Hi-Point 995 9mm carbine, C-9 & my husband's Walther PPQ.

The Hi-Point 995 has a red dot scope, but has the green dot too. The green dot was clear as a bell on the target at 25yds, even on a super bright day. The 995 also has a forward grip, which is much easier for me to get a good grip and keep it steady. Talk about fun, oh ya, I laughed every time I made those discs flip back! :D The C-9 knocked the discs a good one as well. I've shot the C-9 with the peep sight only a few times before, so it took some getting used to. But once I slowed down & got on target a few times, I was doing pretty good.(you should see the leg on the target )

My husband's PPQ is a joy to rack and blast away with. The trigger is perfect for rapid shooting. I have only shot a couple mags through it, but that gun is so accurate anyone could punch targets with great satisfaction.
I picked up as much of the brass (PMC Bronze 115gr)that I could in the snow, and called it a day. :)

There is really nothing else that compares to a fantastic range day is there?
I bought the target on sale and purchased the warranty, because I know how mean I am to my toys! ;)
