I've been trying the Vortex Venom for the past 6 months and have decided to go back to my C-More.

The Vortex has a 6 minute dot but is just not bright enough for me in the sun during our monthly Steel Challenge Match. I find myself searching for the dot more then I should.

The C-More is much brighter and I use a 12 minute dot. I have no troubles finding it.

I switched because the C-More eats up a battery every month while the Vortex battery last about a year. I still have one on my back-up gun.

The C-More doesn't use cheap 2032 batteries, it uses the much more expensive 1/3N type, which aren't rechargeable either. So it eats more expensive batteries faster.

That said, the C-more is the only red dot I'm aware of that offers dots significantly bigger than 6 MOA.
