Unexpected benefits from target practice

I have done a lot of shooting over the past 5 years, and have improved a lot as a shooter.

Iíve also dabbled in photography, another type of shooting, over the years. I usually get discouraged by it over time and put it down, often for years at a time. The other day, though, I picked up a camera, and I found that shooting guns has has had and unexpected benefit, and thatís that my trigger finger is way better than it used to be. Iím now a lot better at taking a picture at the right time, and not moving the camera when I squeeze the shutter release button.

Who knew a person could have a flinch in photography?

My wife has such a bad camera flinch we don't let her take photo's if we want them in focus . These new modern cameras help her with focus / blurry but don't do much for aim / composition ...still get shots of the blue sky without people and her shoes .
Still get the finger in the photo a lot too .

Maybe she needs to shoot handguns more ?
