geroux has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I also shoot in my backyard... so I don't get the pleasure of seeing Tommy Tactical or Carl Camo.
But when I do shoot I just wear what I have on when I decide to grab my gun and step out the back door.. which is most always Levis and a t-shirt and maybe a flannel shirt and/or a hoodie.

[email protected] Tactical and Carl Camo we have them down here too between the pair of them locked in a barn neither could leave a bullet hole in any wall or the roof even if they took steady aim.... Jeans and a work shirt for me with an orange cap so Tommy and Carl don't mistake me for a deer out in the woods..

Only to the extent that I meet social requirements for dress and the rules of the range for closed toed shoes.

Carl can't seem to get enough camo; from hat to boots. I hate to tell him but I can still see him.

Neither one can hit the side of a barn....from inside.

I'll give trap shooters and cowboys a pass. Unless there is not a sanctioned cowboy event. Then you just look silly.

The range can also be entertaining.

Me, I just wear jeans and either a button down or sweatshirt. My hat will either be Indiana Pacers or Butler Bulldogs.
Laughing ... good to know those whack jobs are everywhere not just here in Ohio ... jeans, tee shirt, sweatshirt (if it's cold) and my NRA hat ... better to shoot the part than try to look like the part ... if you know what I mean ...

Hmmmm.....

Depends on my mood and the weather.

Certainly, I never wear white until after Labor Day. (How tacky!).

In the springtime, something in a floral pattern or soft pastels is always appropriate.

Summertime mandates cool comfort; a tank top and shorts.

Fall and winter I'll move to dark, earth tones and maybe spruce up the outfit with some cute accessories.

Those guy's are all over. One range I used to shoot at, one came in several times, and after watching him for a little while, packed up and left (he was shooting EVERYONE's targets, SPRAYING bullets down range!). After the first time, when he walked in, I walked out.

Another group I see are the ones that hang there guns all over them (hip, shoulder harness). Trying to figure who they are trying to impress!

I wear cargo pants (or shorts when VERY hot), and t shirt or heavier when cold.

Man, those two really get around, they were at "the club" just the other day. To each his/her own I reckon.

We have these guys here too! Not so much at the range I go to now but I see these guys where ever I go. As far as dress, I always train in what I am wearing for the season with a solid belt and a secure Kydex holster plus extra magazine.

Does shooting while only wearing boxers count as dressing up?

If not, now I understand why they were so upset at the range!
