Range Report for the LCRx 3" 22 Mag?

Does anyone have a range report on this revolver with accuracy testing out to 25 yards or less and possibly some chronographed velocities?

I have the LCRx 3" 22LR and it shoots good but high and I plan to put a taller front sight on it. I was wondering if the 22 mag version shot high as well and just what kind of accuracy it has with a measured/estimated group size.

Well I got a LCRx 3" 22 Magnum and it shoots great. It's on at 10-15 yards and came with the white front sight. It shoots CCI Maximag 40gr really well and seems to like Winchester 40gr JHP as well but shoots a little higher. The trigger seems better than my LCRx 3" 22LR. I'll be putting a higher front sight on the 22LR as it shoots high form 5 yards on out.

Congrats on the new toy! I've always appreciated the .22 WMR round...it's a potent little round!

I just traded a 2" LCR in .22 WMR for a 3" SP101 in .357 magnum...I picked-up the LCR for the wife when she was having some shoulder issues, so she could have a minimal-recoil pocket revolver...but she never liked the trigger. In the end I preferred something a little more 'stoudt' for camping/hiking purposes!

Hope you enjoy your 3" 'X' model for a long time...

The LCRx 3" .22WMR rear sight is adjustable for both height and windage. What have you tried with that?

In 22 lr very accurate. When my oldest daughter got her first apartment I gave her my Taurus copy of a smith 34. 8 shot 22 lr. She could fire 8 shots double action into a 4 inch circle at 25 feet double action ta t 40 feet. I felt she was well protected. If 8 shots does not solve her problem I doubt heavier rounds would have done it.

My wife does likewise with with her 22LR LCR; feel the same way about it.

The 3" 22WMR LCR sounds like a fine revolver; interested in the feedback/range report info.

My LCRx 22 Magnum shoots great and right on at 15 yards. A little higher further out.
My LCRx 22LR now shoots right on with the replacement of the front sight with the higher 38/9mm front sight. It was shooting about 3" high at 15 yards with the rear sight bottomed out.

I just picked up a used LCRx 22lr used from the gun library at Cabelas. It shoots 7 inches high at 25 yards with the rear sight fully adjusted down. I doubt that Cabelas will do anything for me now either. This is frustrating.

Earlier this week I bought a used Taurus model 94 22lr. It would not cock anymore after 200 rounds. The dealer simply gave me my money back without any question. This was my second bad Taurus out of three. My Taurus .17HMR was by far the most accurate pistol I have ever owned. But 2 out of 3 bad Taurus revovlers? I decided no more Taurus revolvers for me and so I bought this used Ruger LCRx, but I may be regretting that now too.

I really wanted a S&W 317, but wife just can't understand paying that much for a .22lr, even a used one.

Sounds like a lot of debris under the ejector star. 200 rounds is a lot of rounds without cleaning it.

I just picked up my LCRX22 yesterday and am having the same trouble. I think I'll try a Hi Viz front sight for the centerfire LCR Models. I read somewhere that it is supposed to lower POI 4 to 5 inches at 25 yards...that should be about right....I hope.
