WEIG A Tinny mount for Ruger Blackhawk

I had a little trouble finding info regarding mounting the WEIG A Tinny mount on my New Model Blackhawk. (Their own customer service rep was unsure) Turns out the mount for Ruger Revolvers with adjustable sights works just fine.
There is a very slight gap toward the front of the mount 1/16” that is purely cosmetic and you have to look very close to see it. The mount is rock solid with my Burris FF 3 attached. Be sure to follow instructions re: degreasing and locktite.
Have several hundred hot 357 loads through it and it holds zero perfectly.

Weigand has an installation video on their web page. According to the video, you should not have a gap between the front of the mount and the frame. Check it out.

blackvoid will become famous soon enough
I made a "tinny"-style mount to fit my Single-Ten, which is an extremely close copy to the Blackhawk. I have a milling machine, which made the job a fun thing. I then installed a Burris red-dot. I have no gap whatsoever at the front of adapter. Since there is very little felt-recoil from the .22 LR's it is extremely solid.

Yes, please do. I have to do something to aid my old eyes as I don't see that front sight well any more.
